So you're one of the lucky ones getting to witness Queen Bey at her first stadium Formation World Tour. Whether it's your first or tenth time seeing her, here are some tips and advice to prepare you for one of the greatest show of the year.
1. If you haven't watched or at least listened to Lemonade yet, DO IT NOW! AND LEARN IT!
2. Make a playlist of all her old hits.
You know she's going to be charging through her whole discography.
3. Check the weather.
But the queen will throw down rain or shine. So bring a sweater or raincoat, especially for the ride home.
4. Don't be dumb and wear heels.
Platforms and kitten heels maybe, but you are going to be dancing the night away and the last thing you want to do if ruin your shoes or your feet.
5. Carry the smallest bag you have.
You don't want to be that one girl that fit her entire room in her handbag and is now having a meltdown because they have to throw everything away, or she can't get in. Don't be that girl.
6. Dress pretty and practical. There's no need for your Freakm Dress tonight!
As much as I love Beyonce and the ground she walks on, she ain't gonna see you love. And if she does, your outfit is that last thing that'll be important. Slay just enough that you look cute in your pictures for Snapchat and the Gram, and be comfortable. (I wish I took pictures of how some people looked at these Bey shows. You wouldn't believe me if I told you)
7. Charge your phone and bring extra power.
8. Make sure you have space on your phone.
Back it up and delete that ish. Don't be left in the dust when you miss that special Beyonce moment.
9. Print two copies of your ticket.
Yes, you may have the app, or be an extra careful person and not lose your ticket. But you're at a Beyonce concert, anything can go wrong. Do not take any chances, you can't miss this show because you can't prove where your seat is.
10. Give yourself hours of travel time. I'm serious...HOURS!
11. Set up an Uber account. Trust me it'll be a lifesaver.
Especially if you're traveling by public transportation. The concert will end pretty late. By the time you and tens of thousands of people get out the stadium, it will be hella' late. Transportation will be slow and you certainly don't want to be chillin' with a subway creeper. Uber is definitely a safe option to get home if you find yourself stuck in the middle of nowhere. Uber is quick and easy to set up. Plus, if you use my code "zvtmn" you get a free ride.
